ABOUT THE CAMP

The 3rd AYLA Advocacy Camp is a 3-day camp for students, young professionals and community leaders aged 15-30 years old. 

The camp is organized by members of ASEAN Youth Leaders' Association and it is recognized as an international event by the AYLA International Board.

The camp aims to develop youth leaders into strengthening their advocacies and doing something about it.

This camp’s theme is ASEAN P.O.V. (point of view) :Discover Yourself, Define ASEAN.


The camp will be focusing on self-development and self discovery of the delegates, then will progress to how an individual can improve his or her community and eventually, ASEAN. 

The camp was conceptualize with the theme revolving on the self, community and ASEAN. The delegates will undergo talks, discussions and workshops to discover their identity as a person and as themselves. The camp will eventually proceed into how the delegates can help progress their community through meaningful, sustainable and feasible initiatives. At the end of the discussions, interactions and workshops, the delegates are expected to develop ideas that about community development and ASEAN Identity. The ASEAN Youth Leaders' Association believes that the diverse group of 50 people that will be selected in the camp will also bring their unique ideas and culture into the table. This diversity among delegates is expected to be the key in discovering our ASEAN Identity.
