Joy Dianne Gumatay is a development communication graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (Magna cum Laude).
She is a founding member and a part of the first executive committee of UP Model United Nations and the Society of Exchange Students - UP.
Furthermore, she is an elected member of the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in the Social Sciences and the International Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
She also became part of the 10-member delegation of UPLB who participated on a cultural exchange program in Tsukuba, Japan last March 2014.
Moreover, she also represented the ASEAN youth sector in the 6th Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in Bangkok, Thailand last June 2014.
On April 2015, she is recognized as one of the most outstanding scholars of the UP system.
Currently, she is working as a Quality Assurance Manager and as an E-learning Developer in a start-up e-learning corporation, while continuously doing volunteer works with UPLB-based organizations and the ASEAN Youth Leaders' Association.
